    I don't think any business owner should be expected to check the forums frequently. Just because Tyler advertises on R3v does NOT mean that R3v's Private Messaging system is his primary business contact. He's made it clear that the way to reach him is via email, so don't be upset when he doesn't promptly respond to PM's.

    You got your refund, and the reason you got your refund as quickly as you did is because I emailed Tyler for you. Had you emailed him earlier, you would have had your refund earlier. So Problem #1 was the fact that you neglected to communicate with him in an effective manner. Problem #2 was that you called the police over a matter of 40 dollars and wasted our tax dollars and your time. Sorry to be a dick, but there are better ways of resolving disputes of this nature.

    As you can see his tone is very nice and in his PM he request a refund or a different plate then ordered with compensation.

    This is the second or third time someone has used PM and post only. Try emailing me directly which I have posted before. I always try to take care of R3v members.

    TDE30- Refund of 4.95 pending the order being recieved (Monday-Tuesday)

    Stephen-07- need to know an email or contact to sort your order out??

    he said he'd be in and out of the shop tomorrow, so most likely all of this will be resolved soon. Be patient you guys. And keep in mind it took several weeks to get a custom plate from Bavauto when I ordered mine through them. I'm sure there's an explanation for all of this. You will all be taken care of in due time.

    I'm sure there's an explanation. Tyler is a stand up guy... I'm very sorry to hear of your predicament, as I have been there myself. Give him time, and you will get your plate, or a refund, rest assured. I'm local to him so I can try to get in touch with him for you.

    I've ordered two custom plates from Tyler and have had nothing but good experiences. Both of them took a month and a half or so to get, but they were both ordered at peak business/production times (holidays) and I expected this, thinking realistically.

    Given Tyler's workload with the volume of orders he gets around that time, they came rather quickly, both perfect and I was and am very satisfied.

    You've got a returning customer here, guys.
