Sounds like one of those guys that once he has your money he figures he's in charge.

maybe he is a procrastinator like me, especially shipping such a huge item like wheels. I had shipped 4 total and i always end up holding on to them for a week or so before its shipped. Its hard to find the right box at first. Afterward, i just bought them from uhaul. The last two set didn't go so well and now i won't ship wheels unless the buyer make their own shipping arrangement. On the first set i was also on the short side, more than i had expected, but i went ahead and took the lost since it was my fault.

You could have give him more time. He must be driving around with a huge box looking for the cheapest shipping price. I know the feeling, its frustrated.

^ do your homework first then.

Just because you cannot get your shit together does not mean the buyer should pay the price.

^This. Tire/wheel shops will give you wheel boxes. At least mine will. It does require that I make the whole five mile round trip to go get them though. Folks who can't afford the price of doing business as a seller don't need to be selling.

I received the wheels today. They where wrapped up Nicely and everything looked good. Then I unwrapped them and inspected them only to find that two of the barrels have been welded and are bent. You can clearly see the bumps from the welds under the powder coating. Also, on one of the faces the center bore is fucked. Someone tried opening it up and did it poorly. There was never any mention of this in the thread or the out conversations through text or pm. I did ask the what mm the center bore size was and he told me 66.1. Never ever any mention of the one that was fucked. If you look in the thread there are only two picture of faces. This fucking guy is just a bad business person I'd advise anyone not to deal with this guy.

I was wondering how killer bseries fit into this forum until I followed the link and saw that the lug pattern was 5x114.

Dishonest sellers make buying used parts tough. If the wheels are in the condition you described and that was not communicated to you I would agree that you got scammed.

My daily driver is an e34 535i, but i wanted these for my integra... anyway, i contacted him and he denied knowing that the barrels where welded due to being cracked. The funny thing about it all was he offered to powder coat the faces for me before he sent them out. This was before i sent out the money for the rims. So my guess is he had them powder coated before to make the welds less noticeable. Like i said he denied it and said that "that is how he got them when he purchased them and hadn't touched or noticed them". Bullshit!!

this is #3 barrel with the bend. #4 isn't as bad is this one, but still bent with no mention of it. I made an outline of the rim on the cardboard. I took the rim off and tried putting the rim back on the out line and it wouldn't line up with out moving it around. If the barrel was not bent it would've been effortless to match up again, well because it should be a perfect circle.

Not sure if you can file a claim but I'm sure the wheels can be fixed.

I ran over something on the I5 and bent the hell out of my wheel and cracked the inner lip. Had it straightened, welded and recolored for 150 bucks. It looks exactly like the rest of my 359Ms.

(didn't get a pic of the crack)
