    if you can get your hands on the entire car(not just the engine), you can find a way to use enough of the the electrical system and computers to make it work in stock form. i think you could pretty much make anything work that way.

      Was that with OBDII or OBDI ? That is impressive at @ the wheels.

        That was on an engine dyno. I want to say it translated to ~307 whp, but dont quote me. I'm not sure what he is running. Most likely it is OBDI. Might even be Motec, Megasquirt, or something else silly. It's a full out race car, he wont even drive it around on the street. Weighs 2300 lbs too; I think it sounds like the perfect dd.

          Wish I had a picture of the system. I rebuilt one of these (a 3.0 litre) and it was a very neat system. Beautiful motor too, short block looked awesome with the brand new pistons and sandwich metal block.

          i'll grab some pics at work tommorow if i remember

            Guy in Russia, transferred everything from newer BMW into race E30. Not N52 but N54

            this is another video of him drifting with it, at 0:22 second mark you can pause the video and see N54 in his E30 and tires lit the entire drift course

                NA s54 with some cams and a CSL intake over any n52 or n54 all day
                = Heidi 1988 325 -> 335i. 7200rpm built M30

                  NAY.... n54 get 334 tq @ 1500 rpm.... it shits on the s54 in terms of torque and about the same hp plus can be tuned to make more on stock turbos
                  Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

                  Trust me it stock :yawn:

                    Correct. When N54 gets older and cheaper, it will be a popular power plant for swaps. Any straight six with turbos on is a winner.

                      It's like an M54 because they're both 3.0 litres.

                      Given some time I'm sure I could get it to run but it's not worth it right now.

                      No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

                        Well, a lot has changed in FIFTEEN years. The N52's are all over the junkyards now and M50's are antiques

                        I think it's pretty much a perfect e30 swap as well as maybe turbo K24
