It’s pinned and only orientates one way. NV engine have different timed missing tooth compared to the pin and isn’t interchangeable for reference.

The reluctor spins on the hub. Doesn't matter if it's bolted on properly.

I just used a NV crank hub in an NV turbo project since I couldn't locate a NV hub. You just have to drill the pin hole in a different spot, the hubs are identical otherwise.

Motronic 3.1 has a different reference angle than 1.7.
