Which Throttle Cable e30 with m50 swap? Pics of setup

This forum is full of knowledge but I am seeing so much contradicting info on throttle cables. I see e34, e36 and a few others

Does anyone have a pic of what they have done and the cable they used? Id rather buy once and be done then trial and error.

    Any help appreciated!

Keep in mind that a lot of it depends on what brake booster you are running. I originally used an e34 cable when my car had an e21 booster in it and it fit just fine allowing enough clearance between the booster and the throttle body. But the braking feel was horrible so I put a 325ix booster in there which was significantly thicker/wider, so I had much less clearance. I ended up having to modify the cable by bending it into a right angle and doing away with the adjustment threads. I'm planning on doing a much more factory looking modification to it soon and will post some pics. But bottom line is your results will vary based on your setup. Here is a great thread:

Does the M50 & M52 use the same throttle body?
I used the E36 35411163228 for my M52B28. It fits well except that I had to take up some slack with an aftermarket cable end.

I saw you're planning on using the chasebays master.
PLEASE do not use the Single circuit master, they are downright dangerous and haven't been used on cars in 50+ years.
He sells a dual master now by the way.
