Which clutch s52 with getrag 260

My m50 stuff should work but id like to buy new for the s52 or even an upgrade. The friction disc is part number (1864 919 001)

Im just trying to figure out what will work or if I should just buy the same disc and pressure plate. Any help appreciated

stock clutch can slip. I used a Clutchmaster stage 1 or something like that. It was a grabbier Kevlar and never slipped

However, the better option would be to go 6 speed and you won't need to worry about the stock clutch. Diameter of the G260 clutch is just too small for the torque.

I also have a zf 5 speed but havent gone through it yet. I think from what I read the getrag260 should hold stockish s52 power

a stock 228mm Sachs clutch works just fine behind an S50/52 with Getrag 260. i've put many thousands of (hard) miles on that exact set up with no issues, and built many cars that way. however, i always resurface the flywheel and allow 500 miles of very easy driving before any excessive slipping of the clutch (read that however you want) to give everything the best shot at lasting long term.

however, if one would like to upgrade, the "618" heavy duty pressure plate with a stock disc is a good option. my retired daily driver has that setup.

you will need to piece it together individually, or buy a stock 325i clutch kit and use everything but the pressure plate.
