It heats the air and throttle body for car that are in freezing temps (northern states/canada/anywhere its really cold) as ice builds up in the throttle body. Allows them to melt quicker allowing your motor to run better quicker. <--- so I've heard.

It does feel good to have it sitting in its new home! I think it'll be 3 or 4 more work days before we try to fire it up. There is still no transmission bolted up and lots of little odds and ends to tidy up.

                    mount ecu/ route wiring
                    cooling system
build a brake bias valve bracket
                    exhaust system
figure out vacuum lines and stray electrical connections etc.
Its tough for us to get consistent work days so I'm hoping to be driving it in about 3-4 weeks.

its an ix brake booster. The mounting bracket has a slight angle to it. I disconnected the booster from the bracket and turned the bracket 180 degrees so the slight angle was away from the intake manifold. It seems to have worked well as there is a nice bit of clearance and I have read of others having troubles.

Got the clutch in today but realized I need a new "release fork pivot," so the trannys gonna have to wait a few more days.

I must say it makes me smile to look at it!
