Just make a block off plate unless you plan on using the sensor.

you don't need one. I used the euro delete panel, which adds ~.5l to your pan capacity iirc

I just cut a piece of aluminum, used gasket maker and bolted that bitch to the bottom. No leaks, no problems.

I'm using the block off plate too. Factory part that works great and is cheap.

Hmmmm. I like having an oil level indicator, just in case of catastrophic failure.

                              +1

doesnt have to be oil pan breaking, it can be a gasket going bad, a seal breaking, a hose bursting, etc. on a long road trip i'd rather know when i need oil than have to check it every time i stop. meh, i know i'll be using one for sure
