I can imagine. I've driven 2 swapped cars with 3.73 + ZF 320 trannies, and while they're fast, they suck on the freeway for cruising speeds. Traction is horrible with that gearing, I prefer my 3.46 in every way! :D

Tranny is for an E46 330i/ZHP [6-speed]. Carries a getrag transmission. The E46 M3 transmission does not need a custom bracket to bolt to the E30 chassis. Ask me how I know. I have one to in my car [ZHP], the shop owner has one in his M3 [E30] project [E46].

well what bracket did you use to get the e46 m3 trans to bolt to the e30? Because the stock e30 and stock e46 brackets dont work.

I will talk to the owner and post the answer later. His motor/tranny[s54/6-speed] is already in and wired. He did not make a brace for his; only mine. When asked why he mentioned something about the transmission being different.

The last time I spoke with the owner he said he used the stock e30 tranny brace [do not remember if it is the 325 or M3]. However, I am certain it is a stock bmw bracket on his car. What i do know is that mine is a custom build whilst his is an original bmw piece.
