Best Radiator option?

My M42 radiator has worked great with the S52. I've got a Mishimoto all-aluminum E36 radiator as well. I'll put it in one day, but no rush as the M42 has worked fine, even in the hot summer weather which I didnt expect.

Do you ever track it?

I wouldn't be worried about the smaller radiator around town or auto-x, but 20 minute long sessions on track in warm weather could pose a problem.

I like the idea of cleaning up the coolant plumbing.

quick question. I have to go grab a radiator tomorrow morning for my s52 swap. Will the radiator out of a 94 e34 525i or an e36 318i work?

I can mount, i am more concerned with the stock m20 clutch fan fitting.

Mishimoto makes awesome radiators. I will get one eventually. My buddy builds trophy trucks, and ultimate class baja trucks, and those are the only radiators he uses.

I have a new s52 one. My last one blew on me, stupid plastic!

So basically no one has had overheating issues with a stock e30 rad, or a 318is integrated expansion tank rad, or an aftermarket alum rad?

I am interested in the z3M rad. Any more info on this? I like the thought that they have an integrated oil cooler...

I have no problems with my 318is inbuit rad, It does get hot(3/4 on the temp gauge) driving in start stop trafic in the city. But as soon as the spal fan turns on it goes back down to half on the temp gauge.
