      Shit.

I wonder what kind of power they can wring out the S52 N/A.

Not that I've got $10k laying around to build some beast of a motor or anything.

Hahaha, I know right? I'm not even going to add up my swap/suspension costs.

            I quit counting thousands ago.

unfortunately I've hit a milestone that I cant quite get out of my ef'ing head. until this car rolls and I can't wipe the shit eating grin off my face I'm not going to be able to stop thinking about it.

And if in the rare case it doesnt putting a shit eating grin on my face, I'm selling it. yea, I said it.

I am super pumped for you though now that you got it done. Congrats again dudey.

If you look at the dyno graph, you can see that the head made considerably more power down low, before boost. I would think 20whp is possible on an NA engine throughout much of the power band.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for a 20-30whp gain throughout the powerband on my S/C S50.

                    With a 6-throttle 3.2 that's not such a pipe dream!

I would think it could be acheived even without ITB's, using PROPER headwork and cam selection, along with good headers and a spot on tune.

I am sure if you used the Bav Solution stage 3 head, custom Bav Solutions cams and possible increased displacement/compression some, you should hit 300whp.

                        No?

It's possible, sure...but not on pump gas, and it certainly wouldn't be a street motor you'd want to cold-start every morning. There is a big difference between squeezing 260whp and 300whp out of an M50 based engine. It's the difference between a stock long-block with OTS Schricks and a built 12:1+ race motor.

I prefer a potent street motor that has a torque curve that comes on early and screams to 6800 or so and only needs 7000 rpm on the top. My .02
