correction: it usually sits right in between the middle mark and the mark to the left. i don't know what i was saying. sometimes it is even closer to the left mark.

if the engine is hot and i turn off the motor, wait a second and turn it back on, the gauge will jump up past the middle mark just for a bit, but once i start driving it goes to normal.

3/4 mark with stewart water pump, only aux fan (w/o a/c condenser) and 40mm PWR radiator. The gas gauge is screwed up though, i suspect the temp gauge may be also.

rthor, what joints did you solder?

My gauge was reading right at the halfway mark for the past couple days with 82deg tstat. Went out for a longer drive and it was at 1/2 when on the freeway. Turned onto rough city streets and the gauge started bouncing around and sometimes going up to and pegging full hot. Pretty inconsistant, usually when I started driving hard the gauge would instantly shoot down to 1/2 again.
