Thing is, I don't think Wade ever drove around with the 3.73 and the ZF tranny.

I have. It makes the car feel very quick, but if you have loud exhaust, it'll get old after a while. Plus the ratio is too short to be of any real use for any type of racing.

The 3.25 is in essence the perfect gear for the ZF tranny.

3.25 is my favorite so far. Great on a turbo car too! I had a 373 at one point too and i hated it. I used to try to avoid the highway at all times.

Your graph does look good dude, id be proud of it especially on a 2.5!!!! Afr isnt that rich..

Nonvanos is awesome. your just jealous... I still dont have vanos. Trying to hook up two intake cams at the moment but i need some machine workto one of the cams...

That's cool dude! Yeah a friend of mine did that to his NV, put another intake cam on. Does that give it some more pep?

That's pretty damn respectable. Let me drive it.

Have you made a purchase from www.blunttech.com recently?

Thing about two NV intake cams is the intake cam is longer than the exhaust cam by probably 1/16" The Exh cam is shorter to accommodate the main timing gear. I dont feel comfortable pushing the cam gears out of line... Im going to get my spare intake cam machined to the right length and see what that does to HP...

2 stock NV intake cams? The NV intake cam is really only a half a mm more lift (about 5%) than the exhaust cam, same duration (not sure how much the profiles differ). Swapping that I'm not sure how much of a difference you're going to see, might be worth it if you've got the head pulled and happened upon an extra intake cam, but I wouldn't put that much effort into it. I'd try and do the NV intake/252 schrick or try and adapt S50 cams for it (probably not easy).

That said, I'd love to see a before/after dyno, and NVs are kickass (little extra compression ratio wouldn't hurt though).

The s50 intake cam should bolt right into the non-vanos intake side. Move the non-vanos intake cam over to the exhaust side (240, 9.7mm lift vs. 9.0, should be the same or very close to the stock s50 exhaust cam spec).

There's an s50 intake cam for sale on bf.c right now. If I had a non-vanos motor I would have bought it already. Not too often do you you see a single s50 intake cam for sale. You usually have to buy the set ($300).

Only if you convert to vanos.

So you do need a Shrick 252 cam if you want a non-vanos m50 with m3 cam profiles. Interesting.

                      M50nv intake cam max regrind duration and left = 256 x 10.03mm

So if you run the dual intake mod, but send one of your intake to Integral for regrind, you will effectively get M3 cam swap.

                      S50 cam OE specs:
                      -intake- 256 x 9.7mm
                      -exhaust- 240 x 9.7mm

                      M50nv:
                      -intake with Regrind- 256 x 10.03mm
                      -exhaust...swapped with another NV intake cam- 240 x 9.7mm
