    Euro Headers

Anybody know where to find them? I can't seem to find any on eBay Deutsche. That or the translation for 'exhaust header' I am using is wrong.

Who has them, where did you get them and how much did you pay?

I don't really want to use the cheap raspy raceland headers If I can help it, but I know the Euro headers are pricey and hard to find.

I saw an ad for CARR industries headers a while ago and I am seriously considering them they look like a nice piece, I guess they are sort of a copy of a TMS shorty?

I haven't seen any direct dyno comparisons between TMS shorties and the raceland knockoff or supersprint long tube headers. Long tube headers are generally better than shorties though aren't they? more torque and such?

    discuss...

    Thanks

I used ebay headers, fit perfect, even the heat shield on the motor mount cleared. No rasp, IMHO the fact that guys run a custom with no cats + Y pipe into single does not clear out any rasp that the header does create, and if anything amplify it due to the lack of a cat.

There's plenty on ebay.de. Search for M3 Krummer, expect to pay around $350.

They're a damn nice set. Sucks that you have to notch the sub-frame, and re-position the sway bar to get the Euros/Racleands to fit.

How big is the required notch? Is it real bad?

You don't have to - spacing up the passenger's side engine mount a little will suffice.
