im doing an m50 swap i put my trans on today and i had mt car on all 4 jack stands and when my car was in gear i goult spin the back wheels and the drive line didnt spin but when in netural i could spin the dl by hand and the tires would spin. but if when i got it back on the ground and had ut un gear i would catch when i rolled it in gear? is that rught? or did i mess it up?

you have an open diff, this is normal, everything is fine. If you have an extra $200 in your budget find a 3.46lsd or something, will make car boku better

If that's really what he's asking I'm not sure if that's physically possible. Are the rear wheels spinning opposite directions? In that case, yes it's fine and he's an idiot.

Ok, so far I've got that when he spins the wheels with the car in gear, they spin but the driveshaft doesn't and when it's in neutral and he spins the shaft, the wheels spin. Prognosis: HAVE IT TOWED TO A SHOP BEFORE YOU HURT YOURSELF OR SOMEONE ELSE.
