then what I stated above applies. heater/coolant setup is the same. what is different about the obd2 setup is how the crank case ventilation is routed. from the valve cover, it goes to the cyclone oil separater thing and then to the throttle boot... I believe.

What year is your m52 and what is it out of? Mine came out of a 528i and had that fitting for the power steering pump. I ended up just throwing that pump in the corner of the garage and not running powersteering. The proper pump will have the two threaded fittings.

It's from a 1996 e36 328is... Which, I looked up the a new one on bimmerparts and the picture showed the same that I have... I'd really hope to avoid buying a new one... how "high pressure" is it? The high pressure side (banjo fitting) is at 1000+ psi. The low pressure side is at exactly zero. Hose clamps and some tubing from Autozone is fine.
Get a new pump later if you want to be anal.Comment
