Am I reading this right? I have e34x2 parts cars, can I use a booster and MC for an S52 swap?

I pulled one from an e32 or e34 car before, and you can't use a stock e30 cylinder with it obviously.
I wanted to use it in my car, but haven't found a non-abs MC that would work with that booster...

Would you mind sharing how much you picked up the motor for?

Might as well grab an E36 steering rack while everything is out!

Sounds good. I'm still waiting for him to head out here. Johnny ended up getting caught up at work at didn't want to travel during traffic. So I'll snap pictures when it gets here!

For my swap I used an e32 brake booster/mc and reservoir. For koole30's I will be using the same setup.

So basically they get the complete e32 brake booster and master cylinder and cap 1 of the 3 feeds for the brake lines. Hopefully I'm answering your question. Its been a long day.
Yeah, but what booster/mc YOU plan on using? this is your build thread :)

    Round 2! Fight!

So this is a motor swap I'm documenting for koole30. He's a new member on this board and I'm doing a swap for him. Long story short, he bought a car sight unseen (yea we know not the best method) and it turned from an "overheated" motor to a "seized motor". So we decided there's only one way to go. An s52b32 obd1 swap. =) The rest is history.
I'll let some pictures do the talking.

After all the washing and getting out most of the sludge from the motor and caked on dirt/grease I got to this point. Obviously under all that dirt the paint within the engine bay isn't the best. Pretty sure some paint could fix that. :p

In all honesty the car is in rough shape as far as drive-train goes but definitely salvageable.

    So far we've got:

    - motor mounts (e28 )
    - transmission mounts (e21)
    - I have a spare e34 oil pan/pick up/dipstick I will be using but I need to get the crack welded.
    - obd1 conversion s52b32 being delivered this very night.

    Things we still need:

    - e32 booster/reservoir
    - Transmission brace (was missing when he bought the car)
    - e34 throttle cable
    - Wiring adapter (I will be making it of course)
    - drive-shaft (328i manual/m3 4bolt rear end)
    - New guibo and CSB
    - exhaust setup

I'll update this more when I get more progress. For now, I'll take pictures when the motor gets here later tonight.

    -Jasper
