Correct me if i'm wrong, but this seems like the easiest route. Still uncertain about the clutch, guess when I get all the parts I should be able to figure it out.
This is a good setup, or substitute 325iX booster for the 735 as the are the same.

The clutch line will go to the 2002 reservoir but you will need to extend then line or run a longer one. Make sure you use the OEM blue cloth style line for the reservoir relocation and clutch, it is designed for brake fluid.

Yep, the 735i booster is a direct swap. Just take off the "fork" from your old booster and screw it on, no shortening necessary.

Okay, My Booster and MC came in today. After reviewing the MC, they kind of look the same. The one on the left is off the 325ix and the right is for 735i. Is there something I don't see? I measured the shaft, the thickness of the shaft, holes and the all line up.

          Thanks,

Doesn't it drive ya nuts when there is a simple, easy solution, fits perfect, looks and works flawlessly...and people just wanna do it the hard way? I swear, the R3V mentality..."it has to be better, it costs more" or "that is too easy, I gotta have the one from Germany".

See my rants on valve adjustments or brake light on check panel issues...I feel ya!

So, one more time: E32, 735 or 750? Let me guess, m30 car only, right? The one that seems to be everywhere, especially if you need an E34 part?

Undo 4 nuts and a clip, it drops off, right?

Anything else I want form in there, vacuum lines or any of that crap?

What mods are needed to make it fit?

            What M/C, and do I get 25mm?

            Closing SOON!

They are harder to find than you would think. I looked at 7-8 e32's before i found one with a vacuum booster on it. Most of them have the hydraulic booster that runs off of the power steering pump. But they did only come on the e32's with the m30's as a direct swap. The v8 cars had a booster mounted in the front of the drivers fender directly behind the headlight.

Yep, 4 bolts(bring a long extension), a clip, and cut the old brake lines off and it comes right off the car. You will need to separate the MC from the booster in order to get it out of the engine bay if the intake is still on the m30. If you can find a V8 e32/e34, grab the 'plugs' that allow for installation of a remote brake reservoir.

Between the vacuum line on the m30 car and the stock m20/50 you will be able to piece together a working vac line as the distance will be shorter, depending on what motor you started with.

Mods needed to make it fit include a remote brake reservoir and you will need to bend your stock brake lines to get them to fit as the ports are in slightly different places. Like wheelhop said, you will need to swap the forks. And yes, take the MC that comes with the booster, it is the 25mm version.

              PN for Reservoir : 34321112399
PN for 3ft of brake hose: 21521163714 (you need 4 feet if you want to run a new hose for the clutch master. 3ft will work if you splice into your original clutch line.)

As a side note, if you are doing a 24v swap, you will still have to use a bit of spacer on the drivers side engine mount and grind a few fins off of the 24v intake manifold to get clearance for this booster.

Did you guys use the adaptor or do I bolt the booster direct to fire wall?

Everythig is bolted up, however the fitting that I ordered does not fit the 735 MC (02ii). which fitting/gromet do I need to get? been searching realoem and cant seem to find the right one.

Surebimmer, I did get a chance to read your thread (great job). Just need to find out from the resevoir to the MC, which fittings did you use. Thanks,

Porsche 944 booster > All others. Really easy to modify and doesn't require a remote res.

Im running 944 booster and E30 master im just a bit worried what the feel is like. equivelent to stock? dont mind having to push harder on the pedal as long as the braking force is the same. dont wanna be rear ending someone

If you don't mind pushing the pedal a little harder. After my swap, I'll sell you mine. It's a 320 booster with modified shaft and stock e30 mc. It's a direct bolt on, it just came off my running 332is
