Mine is a couple inches off the ground...
How low does your oil pan sit? Pictures?

Any chance of a photo of your sump to ground clearance and or a measurement to the ground from the sump? im running cups too shortly. I assume you are on E36 arms and E28 mounts?I just happen to be looking under the car and it seems like the oil pan sits really low! My car is only on a cup kit right now but coils are in the plans...
Even at the current height, if I added a skidplate, the plate would only be a 2-3"s of the ground! And I'm planning to drop it another 1" or 2". :(
Does anyone have a picture of what their 30 looks like after their m50 swap? The ground clearance; just so I can compare.Comment

I'll second that one! With the crap roads here in Tennessee I cant even consider lowering my car. It sits high with new stock shocks and struts, but I never fear the speed bumps and occasional road debris. The M42 oil pan just looks like its dying to smack something.

I think the M50 swapped cars have more room? At least I though I read that. Maybe I am not remembering correctly.

Thanks man that pics is total crap. but its the only side shot i have.
On as far as the pan sitting lower my motor has been spaced up just over 1/2 an inch.

Well the ride still looks good ;)
As for spacing the motor, I haven't researched that at all; is there something simple that you can do or is it pretty involved?Comment
