        I've seen people custom fab an exhaust manifold so their turbo was sitting just above their headers. How hard is this to do?

        What's the difference/ benefits going top mount vs. Bottom mount and visa versa?

                I was at this point once...personally went turbo. But the FIRST things you need to do, SEARCH bimmerforums FI forums, decided what is best for your power goals...there is a ton of tested set-ups. Decide what your budget will be! I went top-mount it just makes life alot easier

                                I did that one day on lunch break with my S52 car-- I wanted to see what a C6 was made of. It was two younger (20's) guys and I had a friend in the car as well. The look on their face was priceless.. Their pace was dead even with mine, they couldn't pull away.
