i have one long wire that comes from the car itself that used to hook up onto the Temp sensor on my M10,, the other wire that was on that sensor came from the engine loom, now im wondering what wire do i need to plug the "body" wire into on the M50,,
Getting temp guage to work??

you need to install the M20's sensor(im not sure if the M10 is the same; single connector brown head sensor?) on the m50, then hook it up like it was.Comment

Well ive been checking this out,, I have a red/white wire and a brown wire on the front temp sensor, thats the one for the guage right? I have the adapter made by Gregslow 318i, and it puts Pin number 4 on e30 side to the right pin on e34 side, and then there is a voilet/purple wire that i cant trace,, anyone got any clue what thats for? should i just cut it and wire it into the red/white one? :-?
