I'm buying OEM from the dealer. So I'm not sure what brand they are. How would the mounting surfaces be parallel when these mounts are not made for e36 motors in e30's? The AKG mounts that i have in my M3 swap car have the correct angles for the arms and subframe. I have about 3 track days and 5 autox's on the AKG mounts and they are holding up fine. Were in only takes me about 6 months to break a e28 green mount. I would check your green mounts as even when they fail it's hard to tell that they have failed. The center part comes apart from the rubber and just sits there. First time it happened to me it was the left motor mount, it failed and at a stop light i could feel the motor vibrating on my brake pedal. This was due to the intake manifold rubbing on my brake booster from the collapsed mount mount.
So i mean to each there own, but I've killed 4 e28 motor mounts and my room mate in his swap car killed one. I've melted IE yellow poly bushings that were in my e30 M3 swap car. And I've have my car swapped for 4 years now and about 30k miles as my daily driver.
