    s50 wires

    what is this to? I know one plug is for the o2 sensor the other one is???

    i got two out of the three relays figured out what kind of relays do i need for the last one?(it has four prongs)use an orange one?

      The other one can be for anything. Pull the little boot and check the wire colors.

        ill pull the boot back tomorrow but its part of the same wire loom as the o2 plug if that helps any.

              If it's from the same loom as the o2 sensor, wouldn't that possibly be for the zf tranny? I know mine has a sensor and I labeled it and connected it correctly. That might be it.

                I'm throwing my dart at the Vanos Solenoid. You need to run a continuity test to be sure where it goes.

                    Yup, if its on the same loom as the O2 its likely to be the reverse light plug, which is unused since the E30 reverse lights are wired through the body harness down through the center console.

                    Best to pull back the cover and check the wire colors though.

                      the wire colors are blue and green just like the ones that connect to my reverse sensor on my zf transmission.

                          I used the E36 plug and ran the wire in through the firewall.

                              It's the plug for the reverse switch in the tranny, if it is in the same "bundle" with the O2.
