A quick check under my hood confirmed that the connector branching off from the MAF bundle is in fact the charcoal canister connector.

For future reference use the damn ETM to ID wire colors going to different connectors, make a list and tag each connector with masking tape. Then using the same ETM ID what pin of the DME connector the wires go to and ring the wires out with a multimeter (or a test light.)

Also the pic you have up there of that diagram is for an E46 set up is it not or atleast OBD2
If your running an OBD2 setup then that is a whole diff ball game.
I just know that the E46 uses that fuel rail and has the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel filter right on the frame rail underthe driver seat.

yes, you are right. Thanks for the help I hooked it up lastnight. I have a ETM but it sucks ass. It does not show some plugs nor the wire colors. I asked because I could not find it on my ETM copy. I also could not find the fpr on my fuel rail like realoem said it was. I ask becasue I didnt have the info.

I have the crank vent to the intake elbow, and the vacuum hose on the crank to the ICV, ICV to second hole of intake elbow. The only thing not hookup was the vacuum line on the intake to the fpr since it is not on my fuel rail.
