CPS is reading 505ohms, and the plug that it connects to shows 3.3volts. That seems awfully low.
The ECU chip was installed backwards by the clown who started and bailed on the build. I flipped it around and that got the fuel pump working, but still no spark or injector fire.
I forget what the DME is, but im 90% sure its not a red label 413
according to mike (guy who half assed the swap and then dumped it on me) the chip is an EWS delete chip and its brand new from turner. If that is in fact true, what are other possible reasons for my no fuel injector fire, and no spark issue.
the chip is there, and it was plugged inn backwards. before i switched it around the fuel pump wasnt running. Once i flipped it the fuel pump turned on, but still no spark. I pulled a coil pack and put in a brand new plug, then grounded it and cranked the car. Its confirmed no spark.
If it's a silver label 413 or a 506 you are going to need an EWS delete chip. And did I have epic reading failure or did you edit the OP?
I recommend you check the resistance at the DME connector to make sure you have the right connector hooked up to it. I.e. check the resistance between pins 43 and 16.
