Why don't you just open the cap on the expansion tank and let it run for like 20min. That's how I bled my system.
My setup:

Well the issue is my top radiator to thermostat hose gets rock solid hard. And hot. The bottom hose from the block to bottom of radiator is next to dry. Thermostat stuck?
By cap you mean the sensor plug or the actual cap? Tried it. Nadda.Need a part? PM me.

Nah the actual cap, drive around for like a half hour with the heat blasting. I've done this numerous times when bleeding this kind of system.IG: deniso_nsi Leave me feedback here

I always put my car up on jacks, leave the cap off the expansion tank, heat on, then I usually pump the lower radiator hose. No idea if this is actually doing anything, but it has worked for me every time.
Good luck!Comment

Well, here's the thing. I have heat coming from the heater, right now. The damn engine just isn't cooling. In the AM I'm bringing the car in the garage, getting it on stands, removing the radiator, flushing it, removing the thermostat and making sure everything's good and then attempting to bleed this bitch. God damnit I want an M42 radiator...Need a part? PM me.
