It's vacuum leaks. I'm headed down to his place on Friday and I'm going to help him trouble shoot a few things.
      Need a part? PM me.

I did a quick photoshop. You need to push the clip up with your finger or a screwdriver. That's how it sits also.

I'm still going with the intake boot. Unplug the maf and see if it fires up.

TPS.. The TPS wil cause the ICV to open and close irratically and the idle will hunt like yours. Hit the AC button and see if the idle jumps up when you do.

Hey, drive this to Parker's shop tomorrow. That's definitely drivable and, we can get it straightened out. I'll be there morning until I'm finished putting up a work bench or two.

You've still got a vacuum leak but it's definitely getting closer to done. Congrats on making so much progress already :)

this is the piece that hooks into the MAF sensor which is attached to the air intake

you can tell that one of the holes looks different from the others. the others have a copper looking finish inside the hole but the one at the bottom in the picture is just black. could this be causing my idling problems?

you said you ran the fuel tank really low. Have you checked the fuel filter?? It could be clogged up. How many miles on it?

im not sure how to check the fuel filter. where is this?
im not sure how many miles are on it. the previous owner had an m50 engine swap and the engine has 68k on it.
