What are the actual dimensions of the A4 booster/MC combo? Diameter of the booster and total distance from the firewall to the MC.

I'm going with an S54, as it isn't listed, I still have the questions about the actual dimensions. It likely isn't going to work, but I at least have to ask. I'm currently on the list to receive Lee's boosterless set up.

I have the E21 booster because I needed a new booster anyway. I just found the lowest price I could find for a reman unit, and modified the shaft. I went a different route though, I drilled out the nut and clevice to M12 instead of trying to cut the shaft down the M10. Took half an hour tops with a drill press and a tap and die set, brakes feel fine! The pedal is a little stiffer but I'm not worried about being able to stop.

I need to swap out my Ix booster.

What booster has the best pedal feel?

I've got his booster delete kit on the way as well.. I cannot wait to fire the S54 up with open headers in the garage. My neighbors will remember why they hate me.

                  booster

I run a 944 booster on my s50 swapped car.....its a track car thats driven to tracks.

I love it..on the firm side.....but barely noticeable over stock set up....IMO

                  40 bucks...win
I love sitting down and just driving!

My swap car has the 7 series booster/e34 master and it is awesome, pretty firm. Total cost was less than $30.

Looking for a clean e30 shell for a project.

I modified the rod on my 944 booster and installed today. Hopefully the motor will be going in tomorrow or Monday. Harbor Freight die set worked like a champ.

I removed the drivers seat for easier access, more comfortable to do laying on back with feet in the rear seat. haha. Must be a real pain in the ass to get to the bolts for those who have just slotted the firewall to move the stock booster over.

I didn't find it difficult at all and I left my seat in.

quick question: for those who just shifted stock booster over, how did you get the 4th nut on next to the bracket? i have the top right bolt (from the inside) pinned right up against that bracket so there's no way to get that bolt on. is it ok to use just 3 bolts?

                              Thanks

Im just using the three. I figured if it ever seemed to start to flex, I would switch boosters then.
