I have a 1991 325is with auto transmission. The engine I have is a M52B28 out of a 1996 328is. I have the manual ZF transmission that is still attached to the M52.
Heres a list of things I need to do and what I will pay for answers:
OBD1 swap and parts list (sensors, maf, intake, etc.)
Wiring the engine to the chassis and engine management
Auto to Manual transmission swap
Brake booster stuff
Various other engine related stuff (air intake, random custom modifications, etc.)
Things I forgot to add that are required for the M52 swap
I am willing to paypal money to anyone who COMPLETELY answers one or more of the categories listed above. First one to PM one or more of the categories answered gets the money^M52B28^

I have searched and found many OBD1 parts lists but I want to have a 100% complete list because I have ONE WEEK to complete my M52 swap into my 325is. Meaning, I have to have every part together so I wont get held up waiting for more parts to ship. If you help me organize a good list, I will paypal you $20 as long as it is a 100% complete list with EVERYTHING I need to complete the swap from OBD2 to OBD1.
Also, if you help me with other parts of the swap; non OBD1 related such as: motor mounts, brake booster, transmission, etc. I will also pay you.
SO if you answer all my OBD1 questions I will give you $20 via paypal (or more depending on how complete the answer is)
also, I will create a new thread listing the complete parts needed for the M52 swap to help out the R3V community.
AND if you answer my other questions regarding general swap parts and methods, I will also pay you.
Bottom line, show me some interest and be helpful and Ill send you money depending on how well you help me up to $50. Im feeling generous to anyone who will help me with this swap. One more thing, if you PM me, that increases your 'helpfulness' ;)
Thanks,
Peter
There is no complete list. There are a hundred variables, depending on your car, your priorities, and your budget.
I did my m50 swap in 4 short days and had to fab a trans brace, spent 1 full day trying to align an engine in a tweaked chassis, etc..., so your 1 week is plenty of time. Do more searching, you haven't done enough. Nobody is going to be able to tell you everything there is to know, because nobody knows everything about the swap. Each one is slightly different. If you do enough searching, you should have a good idea of what needs done, and be able to come up with a list of questions you still have, then post those. The questions you asked in this thread are extremely basic and show that you haven't done any real digging.

No offense, but I wouldn't take the time to write all that out for $200. I could write over 100 pages and still not cover everything. It's all written over and over again in these forums though.
I have a sticky thread at the top the step by step tells you how to read and figure out the schematics for your wiring. There are more booster threads then you can count. The auto to manual swap is detailed many times.

(e34 harness)
Ive already figured out my fair share, I just have 1 week to complete this project and I want opinions of people who have already done my swap, so they can tell me any hidden parts or problems to plan ahead for. I need to have EVERY part together for the week of April 25 so thats about 2 weeks to get all the info together and order parts.
Oh and your answer "e34 harness" is a perfect example of a not complete answer. e34 vanos/non vanos harness would have been a better answer :p^M52B28^

I just dont have the time to search for the fine details that are overlooked in the sticked threads. If no one wants to search for me, then no one gets payed. Simple as that. But Im sure there are some poor college kids that wouldnt mind searching and/or telling me their experiences with the swap.
Read this again, or buy the fucking Zionsville CD, and all their parts kits!
