    no fuel no spark

OK i have probed my harness adapter and i have power where i should. On my ignition coils i have one 12v, one ground that switches to power on cranking and one terminal completely dead no power or ground resulting in a no spark condition. I am not getting fuel. Any one know what this could be. I spent almost 12 hours on my pinouts with the factory etms so im 99% sure thats good. Any help would be appreciated.

Crank sensor is within spec at .500 ohms
    spec is .490-.590

Edit: measured ohms across pin 43 and 16 of my dme and i get o.l.

So did you verify that you have a 500 ohm reading @ the ECU for the crank?

I need to know your harness and your motor...

I measured resistance across the sensor itself. I also probed pin 43 and 16 on the dme for resistance and got o.l. I have 3.3v at the connector on the harness one ground and one ground that switches to power on cranking. Engine is 92 m50 nv and car is 89 325is.

If I am reading the right ETM, Your Crankshaft position sensor is on pins 67 and 68 of the X6000 connector (ECM). Look for 500 ohms there.

16 + 44 is your cam shaft sensor. Make sure all of your ohm readings are right.

Pin 43 is a ground. But don't worry your self with that BS yet. Make sure you have Crank into crank and cam into cam. Both are VR sensors so if you back probe @ the X6000 connector you should be able to see some milivolts while cranking.

So just to clarify the x6000 connector is the one that locks into the dme correct. I'll test in the morning and post back with my results. Thanks for the help.

              Yes it is.

Just work on checking for continuity between your crank position connector and the DME. And make sure you have the right connector.

If you are getting fuel but no spark I wouldn't be checking the CPS or cam sensor. You should be getting a constant 12v at the coils on pin 3 of the coil connectors with the key in the run position. If you are not which by your description seems to be the case you did in fact make a mistake with your adapter or harness plug. X20 pin 21 (big green wire) should go to c101 pin 7 (also a big green wire) If the connector checks out I would check the harness for continuity from a coil connector to the harness plug end. Then check for 12v at the body side of the harness plug (c101)

I have 12v at the coil on pin 3.
I also have the big green wires on the c101 and x20 connected. I also have 12v at the body side connector. I have power where i should but still no spark.

trying cleaning your injector ground, i have heard of this wire cracking breaking etc...
worth a try, and super easy

And all 3-5 of the fuses that control fuel are good?
