So I am back on the Job. So do you have fuel pressure or does the pump just prime? You need to check that. If the pump is giving 40/50PSI while cranking its turning on the pump. (It only turns on while cranking).

Can you give me your wiring chart for your adapter. I want to check it.

        Check these pins for +12V

        56
        27
        26
        54

So wait, is your cam sensor a 3 wire or a 2 wire? The wiring diagram that I have for the non-vanos 525i engine says both are a VR sensor.

So pins 16+44 should be cam shaft sensor, look for milivolts while cranking. Also check your PN of the cam sensor and make sure you have the right one for your engine.

Both my cam and crank are 3 wires and i dont have any spare 2 wire connectors on my harness. I will probe those wires when i get home. Do i probe 56 27 26 54 when cranking or just in run position?

Meter between pin 3 on both the cam and crank. You should see continuity. And I mean meter Pin 3 and Pin 3 @ the same time

Do you have a pin 10 in your x20?

                  Or a 65 in x6000?

Yes, I am just posting my questions so you can answer them later. Yes, You can call me and see if I am able to talk.

Are you using the same trigger wheel for a non-vanos? On the front timing cover.

Thats kinda what i figured, this definantely give me a place to start. Yes same trigger wheel. I havent taken anything off the engine except for the a/c compressor and corresponding pulley on the crank. Trigger wheel never came off, not saying that the p.o. didnt do something funky.
