Those 4pc headers have a lot of clearance! Did you have to mod them at all?

Nope - they fit great! It's a little tight against the firewall, but not bad.

I never even thought about using 2 single in/single out mufflers. What did those run you each?

I think they were only around $70 each. The resonators were about $110 each. The whole exhaust actually only cost me about $1000. The hard part is finding 2" anything. 2.25" is much more common, but since the primaries were 2", I stuck with that.

Luke - I'll try and get a clip in a week or two. I've got a sticking lifter now that sounds terrible.

When you drive it for a bit and the car warms up it will likely go away. I get this from time to time of the car sits a bit. Once it warms up and the car get in the upper RPMS it goes away.

That sounds more VANOS than anything, you sure it is a lifter?

yeah it goes completely away if driven at all. And it's pretty easy to tell where it is coming from IMO.

I get a demo for my job so I don't drive the e30 much. So I get to hear this delightfull music whenever I can get it out to play. :) It's about time to flush out the oil I put in when I first did the swap. Not sure if I need to go up in weight or down to help remedy lifters sticking.

Damn $1000? The 02 sensor should be reading the oxygen content in both pipes, not in just one fyi.

$1000 is actually a reasonable price for a well built custom exhaust. I know most here think a custom exhaust costs $100 but...
