Any special reason for the switch? I'm curious since I've got both boosters sitting in my garage. I was going to use the modded one and just run my stock master cylinder. Any good reason to go through the whole remote resevoir deal?

    Thanks.

    ^that looks like Jason's brace

IIRC it took him a whole day (I was there) and lots of grinding, cutting, welding, etc; as you can see

Yep, not cheap compared to scoring deals and doing the small changes on a used one.

I got 90% done fabbing one up today... I was somehow distracted by pulling my engine out... What kindof time frame is everybody on?

I would make some trans brackets no problem for around $150 - 200. But my problem is the issue with safety and the whole lawsuit issue. Let me know your thoughts.

I like the idea of being able to use the stock E30 transmission mounts. That way we could run urethane mounts.

Price, of course, goes hand-in-hand with quality of workmanship and the demand for them.

Man, if I wait long enough, there's nothing I'm going to have to fab myself for this swap! Just need someone to make E30M50 converted brake boosters now. :)

The price depends on how long it takes you to make each one and how much time it took you to fab up the first one. I wouldnt imagine the parts expence would be much, right?
