http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...=193281&page=4 <- This is my suggestion as it raises the pan so the steering rack/sub frame are the lowest points.

I think you need to just be carfull my m20s oil pan is 1.25 inches off the ground and I manage just fine my exhaust is .5 inches in the lowest spot if that scrapes then I know I'm in trouble LOL. Then again the roads in AZ are actually fairly maintained at least in west Phoenix/Glendale area.

Maybe instead of fucking up the geometry and alignment of your drivetrain and suspension, why dont you not dump the car, and raise it a bit?
Seems pretty retarded to shim your motor up or fuck with the subframe...dont you think?

So I measured mine and the skidplate is 2.5" from the ground. I guess that's not even close compared to some of you, lol! I have big boy sized tires though.

yea, two birds one stone. Reduce the tendancy to roll, and bring that rollcenter back to ground level or above.

OR.... build an extremely burly skidplate and be afraid to drive it around town.

Iceland has pretty nice roads, or?

our roads are that shitty i need something like this as a skid

I am (cant believe i am saying this) RAISING my 24v e30 atm, it would not last a week with either skids with the pan less than 2.5" on our roads

if she goes for that, astroglide up your pole, have her lay on her stomach and slip it in slowly and bury it to your balls and leave it there until she relaxes. once she is used to it slam that ass like a screen door.

Precisely why I like 17s on an E30.

You can get rid of the gap between tire/fender AND maintain a more reasonable ride height.

Running 4 inch ebay springs and billy's, Got the adjuster all the way down but i want to go lower,, Do you think i could raise the motor like 3-5cm's? And lower the car the same amount? I survived a whole summer on shitty icelandic roads with the pan at this height, But the problem is i wanna go lower next summer.. If i would raise the motor, Drop the car so the pan is at same height and get a massive skidplate, Dont you guys think id be good? :$
