I only have e36 motor arms, And e28 M5 motor mounts,, Ive seen pics from where people have had there pans flush with the crossmember? Isnt that unhealthy for the driveline? or should i just go make some huge poly motor mountsComment

the picture below is with an m44 motor (no difference obviously) ejnight plate and KWs. the skid sat roughly 2 inches off the ground if my memory serves me correctly (been over a year since ive spent more than 30 seconds around this car). with the m52 in the front (roughly 70-80 pounds heavier....?) and the e39 m5 mounts it actually sat about even or a little higher in the car than the m44. ive got a ejnight 24v plate to go in the car and should be raising it a small amount.
edit: tires are 215/40s on a 9 in front also for tire reference.

that is a ridiculous leak. The sad thing is that oil pan will likely need to come off to properly fix it.. and that's a major PITA. Aid the pan gasket with some RTV does wonders.
I won’t judge how ridiculously low the car is as well. You need to make a custom sump from your e34 oil pan at that point. Bigger rims may give you some extra room. Not even my track car is that low and I still scrape the oil pan everywhere.. Hell I’ve shaved down all the tips of the fins already lol
and fix that oil leak it grinds my gears when people are irresponsible to the environment leaking like crazy buying a quart of oil a week just to keep running. that's a quart you're dripping on the road every week. 13gal a year worth of dripped oil.
:hitler:No more e30s for me.

I have about 1.2-1.5 inches left on my GC in the front. Slid in the rain a few weeks ago and went over a curb. though my pan was toast, but it just removed about .2cm from the fins. Time to get a skid I think, or maybe some new tires...Comment

LOL@"The sad thing is that oil pan will likely need to come off to properly fix it.. and that's a major PITA." The leak was the oil filter housing gasket. Everytime i parked it all the oil from the filter leaked out. Fixed now. So stop crying about it.... Was like that for maybe 2 weeks haha.. :mrgreen:Comment
