24v swap miles per tank - make no sense.

I'm getting around 24 mpg as well...It beats the 21 mpg that I was getting w/ my bike rack.

I know my light comes on and I fill-up only with 11.5 gallons. When I ran out of fuel, I put in 13.1.

My M50 NV got around 300 to a tank and averaged 21 hwy 17 city.

M54 3.0 nets me 27.5 in combined city/highway driving. 24city/29highway is typical.

it's like 500lbs heavier than an average E30 (~2700 vs ~3200). how is that not meaningful?

it doesn't make sense when guys with stock M20's are getting 20-27.

With my S50, 3.46, 6 Speed and an aerodynamic brick! I get 24 bombing it around the bay. On deep freeway I get 27.

g260+s2.93 = 17-1800 in 5th at 60ish

Bottom line is I just dont get it. When I had an M20 I would get 25 avg, I get now 21 avg driving somewhat chill and its an engine that doesnt have to work as hard and more "efficient."
