well decided to create a build thread for my eta project :D
here is my 85 eta diamanshwarz coupe:

i pick up the car with about 130,000 miles on the m20 and after about 1,500 to 2,000 of abuse it started to sound funny on the crank. so instead of rebuilding the lazy old m20b27 i decided to swap a m50 in there just for the fun of the build and the mechanics involved.
so few months after i saw a clean 92' 525i with a good looking m50 sitting there and the price was also a nice, they wanted only $800 for the complete car. so i bought it and some weeks later here is the m50 sitting at my garage:

the 525i had 143,000 on the ODO and it was an AUTO, so found the price fair.
i sold the 525i and the person who bought it removed the m50 by himself and delivered the motor with all ACC i asked directly to my home, so i have no complaints about giving it away for a cheap price.
after selling the e34 and the old m20 i got the m50 practically for free ;)
more photos soon of the m20 removal and m50 cleaning in a couple of minutes!
