Im sure there may be diagram that will be perfect but I found that if you want to perfectly sure of the wiring, have both ETMs out and do it yourself. I tripled checked one that I found on the interwebz and I had to modify it to work on my specific wires.

since they dont have a 1995 m3 specific one, would the m50 one be the same?

from what I saw when I did my wiring search, the M50 is the basic wiring, and the addidtions/changes/subtractions are noted in the diagrams for the various other configurations. Best "listing" I found was this one

but I would HIGHLY suggest that you check the wires with the ETM yourself to avoid issues.

The colors and positions matched up with mine, 1987 car to 1994 engine. As I stated before, YMMV depending upon the swap donor used.

If there are any major oversights on my part, please feel free to elaborate past "some issues"

If you pull up the m50 95 one, they have M3.1.1 also which is an S50 engine management.

even if it matches up most charts I've seen, including that one, don't bother to do things like power up the diagnostics port or ABS on later cars. they also don't include M3 or ix specific pinouts.

Fair enough. The ABS isnt an issue on my early model, and powering the diagnostic connector was handled through another chart. as long as those are the main issues, Im OK then :D

OK, I'm clearly doing something wrong, or not understanding something. I'm trying to help a friend do a pinout chart for a `91 318is using the Wedophones site, and I flat out cannot find a few connectors listed. I've been unable to find #s 8, 9, 11 & 12.

What am I doing wrong? Am I really just missing these over and over in the ETM, or are they listed somewhere else?

                        Thanks guys!

You'll find those in the instrument cluster section, not the injection electronics section.

^That. Also look at the AC section, and check control section for more connections ;)
