    Please help!!! Experienced swap guys only!!!!

    E30 s50 swap won't start!!!! I have a 413 red label and a akg wire harness adapter. The engine turns but the fuel pump doesn't kick in. We jumped the fuel pump and it's turns on. Relays are also good... Has anyone experienced similar problems??? Anything will help. Thank you

    does it run when you jump the fuel pump?

    if something is wrong with the engine, the DME cuts both fuel and spark to avoid any combustion.

      We didn't try to start it after jumping the fuel pump but we we sprayed engine starter on the maf sensor and it started. The engine is good because it started before we pulled it out the wrecked m3... I had a m3 ecu with ews and ews delete chip and that didn't work so I thought I needed the 413 red label and it's still not working. I'm going crazy lol

        Oh yea since it started after spraying engine starter, it has to be getting a spark...

            Front.... and back... and side and other side. Lol But the engine was very clean abd it started before it was pulled

              check continuity between P1x6000(DME) and 85 on the relay

                I'll let my mechanic know in the a.m. Then I will let you know what happened. But I believe the relays are good

                    I did something stupid when I did my swap - I put the fule lines in backwards. The line from the pump went to the pressure regulator rather than the fuel rail. Duh.
                    sigpic'87 325is, S50, Lightened Flywheel, Ground Control suspension, Strut Tower Braces, Roll Bar, Five point Harness, lots of little go fast things.

                      Yea we thought we inverted the fuel line also but since the pimp isn't coming on at all then it has to be something else. I'm guessing it's the akg adapter. I should of went with treehouse but I was trying to save as much as possible

                        Send a message to EricT on here. I think he is selling his 5 lug swap. That man has made me every adapter that is on every swap car at that shop. It's on my car, Joe's car, Dardi's car, Elias's extra m50 motor in the back, and I got other people on them too. Wayyyyy cheaper than treehouse or akg and he custom wires everything specifically for your motor/chassis combo. Look into him. He is the man and won't get your stuff wrong.

                          try jumping the pump and starting it...

                          The DME controls the fuel pump... the only thing running through the c101/x20 is the main power to the fuel pump from the relay.
