you have a wiring problem.
throwing sensors and parts at it will not solve your problem - only frustrate you as owner.
who did the wiring? and do you have any clue what they did to your car? (do they have any clue???)OBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25

FWIW I heard alot of people telling me that the ETM's AKG and treehouse use are all bs and have alot of the wiring wrong. Don't quote me on that but that is the first place you should check. And are you sure you don't have the crank sensor mixed up with the cam sensor? That will cause a no start aswell.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Did you buy this adapter from akg? Or did you buy it second hand?
Never mind.
Take it to the guy who wired it. Tell him you want a car that runs.

There is no need to town whore a nice car due to lack of mechnical/electronic aptitude, obviously there is a problem with installation (if the owner has taken the car to 3 shops and the car is still DEAD).
a 24v swap shop would not have these issues, adapter or not.
someone who knows what they are doing in this situation would not even need an "adapter". The clean way to do this is to just repin/re-configure the connector to body, make the e34 24v harness into a plug and play item into the e30 body.
Why no adapter?? = cheaper, cleaner, more reliable and less possible failure points.
a 24v wiring harness does not have more than 24 wires @ the DME, so if one was to use a multimeter and check continuity carefully between all terminations and this connector the problem would show itself. This is very easy (just requires patience and understanding of WTF is going on).
Most people cannot handle wiring. Fraid of it, they don't understand the situation must be unraveled the hard way.Last edited by Wanganstyle; 09-27-2011, 04:24 PM.OBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25

Also check the little black wire the comes up from the battery with the big main wire that is on the power block on the fire wall. The big fat one powers the Fuse Box but the little wire powers the 3 relays on the wheel well. I usually elimiante this wire as i have had 3 cars that the wire shorts out along the body some where and as soon as i conect the wires to the main power wire my fuel pump kicks on. (with key)
I have swaped my motor into 3 diff e30s... 86, 87, 88. My motor has started turn key every time.
This is just a issue i have had. If you have other issue it may not solve it.
Also to atually start the car you need really only need 3 wires. Alt., Starter/Ign, and the fuel pump wire every thing else is self contained for engine management.

Like I previously mentioned; there are 2 shops within striking range of you that will be able to 100% handle your issues- they handle serious work for many 24v swap cars (including many forum members including myself) and are both honest guys. Yes, hair club for men.
I have been swapping powerplant systems of all complications in my own vehicles (BMW, Toyota, Lexus, Subaru) for the last decade, have seen all sorts of serious serious failures with wiring..............OBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25
