Even if I could do it through the coding plug, it still wouldn't work that well. Your injected fuel is based on your injector flow rate from their size and your specific fuel pressure. Are they dirty or clean? Is your FPR calibrated to exactly 3.5bar?

My board has adjustability so you can calibrate it to match your EXACT fuel consumption. No coding plug would consistently get you to +/- .2 MPG.

I can see how this works for MS better than nothing, but the rate of consumption is dynamic to atmosphere, driving conditions air temp etc. I always understood the OBC having gathered and calculated all relavent data and produces a constantly dynamic MPG AVG,range and avg MPH, etc. The OBC gets this info from the cluster with exception to outside temp, anyone who has ever retrofitted a 16 button knows this. If you put in a static adjustment your range won't recalculate the approximate distance to empty, It would read a set calculation of how much gas is in the tank / the sum of the equation your board dumps out.

Therefore your 3 gallons of gas you have will get you further than what the OBC says because your economy is optimal at speed, or vice versa if you are stop light to light. Or you set it in the middle and deal with the, meh it's close enough.

Needs more dev , I'm done with this bullshit. Free muthafuckin planet I can give this guy solid feedback and he can handle it without all the little cheerleader bitches. For me, it can be off now, it doesn't seem like throwing dough is going to get my OBC any closer and I just have more splices in my car. Fuck it.

What? no it's not. The only thing that matters is injector pulsewidth, and the size of the injector. Fuel flow is linear with respect to pulsewidth. Since you know exactly how much fuel mass flows through an injector at a given puslewidth, MPG is basically pulsewidth/MPH. Air density and other bullshit doesn't make any difference. You don't have a clue what you're talking about.

the only thing the coding plug tells the OBC is cylinder count and injector size. the reason your OBC/econometer goes to hell with a swap (or standalone) is because you've changed injector size. nothing else makes any difference.

Wrong. All that matters is the mass of fuel you used (known because of linear injector flow rates) and the distance you've traveled.

it's quite clear you don't have a clue. it's actually hilarious to listen to you bitch when you don't even understand the basics of how instantaneous MPG works..

Anyway, regarding the group buy I just ordered some more boards and when I get those in and assembled, tested, etc. in about 2 weeks we'll have the great "3 day sale!" just like Macy's. Order it in those 3 days and I'll ship it for $65. None of this "we need 4 more people for the list" crap.

Mr. Swiss, your head is so far up your ass you can probably chew on your own hair... The banner you're referring to was and ad for George Graves' OBC TEMP SENSOR replacement and had nothing to do with anything you think it did. You're stupid.

                    Thanks Steve;

Please keep the sourcing from Taiwan where quality is.

really cheap shit in taiwan in sourced form china, the original items for small run production are NOT.

WHY? IP protection. Taiwan became the #1 global chip nation for a reason = RESPECT FOR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.

Swiss; your openly stating you bought a treehouse adapter to dissect (i.e. unable to create original idea or understand what treehouse did without dissecting it) = YOU are an IP theif.

With all these wiring diagrams provided BY BMW - you still had to buy a pre made one to dissect ? WTF - can't you read 2 wiring diagrams and add them together???? is it really THAT hard to re-pin 10 wires?????

I have managed to wire every single severe modification for all the cars I have built FROM SCRATCH - from diagrams, MY OWN original ideas, Original proccess - Has this cost me time/$$/pain- YES!!! but it is MY OWN, not some RIP OFF SH*T.

how did I wire a 2JZGTE JDM spec ecu into a USA Sc300 while keeping full 100% OBD and diagnostic so I could drop the car off at Toyota for service? by reading the diagrams, making my own charts, testing and risking my own stuff........AND I gave it for free.

If I had bought a DR tweak harness and dissected it to post the intricacy it would actually be in Violation of IP as I back hacked the code- That would be simply be a WEAK-SAUCE action. I will NEVER rip off sombody's work; original compilation is the only way to go.

If you want to R3v target pricing via china spec and price everything.... you are becoming a cheapass price consumer and not buying service; You might as well buy one from him and send it to china to get knocked off- and then get ripped off by by the china factory in return. F-china, mainland mentality = FAIL.

People with self worth Never support KNOCK OFFS.

Steve is a guy who creates his own original product from scratch - AND provides a high level of technical service that some of us really appreciate.

regarding unskilled rip off artists with no respect for IP or SERVICE!!! ......:weak::weak::weak::weak::weak::weak:

                              Interested

I just swapped a M50 into my 89-325i and my mileage consumption reading on my OBC is out to lunch.
This corrector circuit looks like a brilliant way to go.

BUT / I am in Canada - Can you make it work in Kilometers for my Kanadian car that runs on Beaver Juice?
I'm very interested. (I hate it when things don't work)
                              Thanks.
