hmm. You try a OEM rubber guibo?

the metal unit may be the cause of the vibration.

When I put the driveshaft in, I had to loosen the collar nut and "extend" the driveshaft so it would meet the tranny.. probably about an 3/4in to about an inch.. would that be enough to throw off the whole balance of the driveshaft?

Just ordered a White325is tranny brace.. will install and report back, but I would like clarification.
Why is your D/S over extended? What D/S are you using?

It will be in line with the diff, its the rotation angle that's different between the g260 and ZF. The m5x/s5x motors have a different bank angle than the m20, so the trans "leans" a bit with a miss-match.

I would try this. It sounds like you have a slight misalignment somewhere and it's being amplified by the guibo.

You can check for alignment by taking off guibo, remove D/S. Bolt the front half directly to the output flange and back half to the diff and see where your CSB ends up, if the mounting tabs wont line up then you have an issue elsewhere. The stock guibo might have been toast because of this.

If you have a misalignment, I would check the integrity of the rear sub-frame bushings and diff mount.

        Finally fixed this bee-yatch!

Had to raise the rear of the tranny 3/4". It was applying too much downforce to the CSB and was not level at all with the rear diff.

Vibration is gone, and the car is smooth as silk and screaming again!

Thanks for all the input here guys!
