            s52 from 98 m3
            obd 1
            TRM chip
            UUC flywheel
ebay headers dual 2in all the way back with an H pipe
            stock injectors, pullies and maf
an exposed to heat cone filter for now

The wrecked e36 donor car was a big mystery. The car was clearly someones baby but I was not able to get detailed engine information. When I pulled it I found suprises along the way. When I removed the oil pan the oil pump nut was already welded. There is a rebuild/wax plug in the back of the head. I have to assume there is more done to the engine, possibly cams? 4 or 5 other s52 cars ran on the dyno yesterday and my car put up an average 10 more hp.

              Numbers sound about right.

BTW, nice car. Wish mine looked half as good.

WTF is with dyno shops doing power/tq vs speed instead of RPM?

                  anyway, nice car and #'s!

What color was the car? What type of crash damage? I may know info about that car/ engine.

EDIT. Nevermind, saw your build thread not the same car.

It's a lot easier to do a dyno pull with no tach signal. Just strap it down and go, the dyno calculates. It usually reads a little bit higher on MPH as well.

I guess the M3 is more difficult since there's not really a spark plug wire to hook into. still annoying :p

by the looks of it, that was a 3rd gear pull?

This is my thread from when I started the swap, theres a picture of the donor e36 there. It was a dakar 95 m3 that had been s52 swapped.

They got a tach signal for all of us but were giving us these printouts. I asked for one with the tach too.

I think they were doing 3rd gear pulls. If the MPH is correct that would seem about right. Im running a zf trans with 3.46 diff.
