    Torque setting for the intake mani?

    I couldnt find in r3v but google search reads it as 20Nm. Correct?

    Also, is there a tightening sequence?

      tight enough to hold it down, loose enough to not crack the plastic

        Does anyone else have a tough time installing the nut next to the fire wall? Gets me every god damn time.

          Im looking for the exact spec...a number if you please.

          Yes, that last nut is a pita. I grease up the nut and put it in the socket and aim away (man that sounds dirty) lol

            For an M50, I looked up and found 3 torque specs.

            M8 = 22 nM
            M7 = 15 nM
            M6 = 10 nM

            Here's the full spec list.

                      Let me tell you where torque specs are important... Head bolts, main bolts, rod bolts.

                        ya think? Hopefully I'll never have the displeasure of riding in a car you've worked on then. Suspension doesn't matter?? How about lug nuts??? Gotta love warped rotors!! hmm. Flywheel? Pressure plate?? What about anytime you are running a bolt through aluminum? ie exhaust manifold bolts? and no worries about stripping out those oil pan drain plug threads right?

                          I'm not joking, your reply had me laughing out loud here at work. I can promise you I've layed hands on more E30's than you can dream of with no ill results. Believe in your exhaust manifold torque specs and leave the real work to the big boys.
