    Or you could just run the M20 overflow, Fill with coolant, put cap on and drive. No bleeding required.

      In AZ an M42 radiator just doesnt cut it.....

      Agree with 328junkie, the late M20 expansion tank bleeds itself. Filled with coolant, walked away, topped off, no worries....

        Your water pump is more then liking spinning on the shaft. So when you raise engine rpm the water pump doesn't increase flow, allowing it tempurate to be okay at idle but overheat while driving.

        It's a tricky one to diagnose.
