Well it's only 4 wires. I don't think wedophones electrical troubleshooting told me much either.

I am so glad you asked this, cause I am in the same boat. And I feel like I'm abusing the forums with questions as of lately. Subbed for the solution.

Wiring harness side = Yellow, brown, black, green

O2 sensor side = white, white, grey, black

Now I'm thinking, White and White can both be interchangable with Yellow and Green

            Grey goes to brown
            and black goes to black.

            need someone to confirm though.

I wired my o2 sensor for my m30 swap. Took 2 o2s for m20 to get long o2 for m30. The two whites are interchangable. One is for heater but i cant remember what color it was. Look up wire diagrams for bosch o2.

Easiest way is for someone with a 4 wire sensor to pull back the boot on their connector and list which pin each color goes to.

                According to the diagrams:
                Pin 1: yellow
                Pin 2: black
                Pin 3: brown
                Pin 4: green

Afaik the two white wires are for the sensor heater, and are interchangeable. Green would be power to the heater and brown the ground for it.

Also what year is your e30, b/c the diagram states the green wire is actually green/blue, not solid green like your pic.

why don't you go find the wiring diagram? it's all there. you can even get a new connector and pins and make it like new again.

                        lol no upboats here

Speaking of which, I bought a new o2 sensor plug from blunt as I accidentally crushed my o2 sensor plug as well when I lowered the car.

I havent popped the pins out yet though and transferred them over.

I recommend either hacking a harness from a donor car or buying new pins and plug and rewiring.
