      LOTS of pans being sent in and turned around, not sure how much longer I will be offering this so make a move fast if you want a custom piece

                  Did you cut and weld the oil pick up? Found out tonight they are made of magnesium.

                          I understand your no longer doing this. I just want to know how you modded the oil pick up since you have no pictures of it. I've just finished up my low profile oil pan with increased fluid capacity. now addressing the pick up. after I cut an inch off the pick up I realized its made of magnesium. Mag rod is super expensive and no one has it in stock near me.

                            Yeah I cut it an equal amount as the pan, then lathed a thin tube that was knurled on the outside and pressed it into both cut ends. The outside seam was sealed just to giggles with an oil safe epoxy. Flow was not effected, I also cut the bottom below the pick up screen and removed that metal.
