Looking to have your 24V headers coated?

I'm going through JetHot to have my Supersprint reps ceramic coated, and in doing a little research, I found that VAC Motorsports actually offers the service through their site for $219!

It's not just for 24V motors obviously, but since most people do run an aftermarket header with their swap, I thought people would like to know about this. Much cheaper than I was anticipating, and JetHot coatings are an inside/outside coating, whereas most places just do external.

there's a place in the PNW that does it too. have yours been run? it costs extra if they're used because they have to clean them. Mine were inside/out.

it also makes an unbelievable difference in underhood temps.. for $200 or whatever it's totally worth it.

cool. i might have to do this when I get to that point on my build. $219 isn't bad at all.

Yeah, they have, and they have the shitty flaking header paint on them, too. I just got a quote back from them and they said $250, probably going to do it in a few weeks. I was told by them and a few others that it will also cut down the rasp a lot, because the steel on the Supersprint reps is so thin.

Superior coating at very reasonable prices. I would pick swaintech over jethot any day.

I'm actually going to have it done at a place here in town now. They do the same thing, and I won't have to pay probably close to $100 in shipping round-trip.

I'll throw this out there as well because they do great coating that really helps with temps. They do pistons and such as well.
