I know that S52 headers will bolt up to an M54, but what about the euro stuff? Can I run S50B32 (euro) headers on say...an M54B30?

Ok, great news. So the S54 is its own beast, but all other headers are compatible. For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!Originally posted by mbonanniI hate modded emtree, I hate modded cawrz, I hate jdm, I hate swag, I hate stanceyolokids, I hate bags (on cars), I hate stuff that is slowz, I hate tires.

One thing to note about the M54 is that some of them don't have all the stud holes drilled in the head.(I think it's some of the later M54)
So this would be a problem if you're going to use headers with 4 studs per pipe. There wouldn't be a problem with 2 piece headers.
I read this on bimmerforums a while ago on a project thread for an m54 powered track car.Zinno '89 <24v swap in progress>

Thank, I'll make sure to check for that. I'm hoping that if I can finally get my hands on an M54 I've been trying to buy that I could use Euro lontubes for more power, or if I go ahead with my previous plans for my track car I could use them for clearance on my rhd daily.
