Sorry for the bump, but is there any reason that you couldn't run both a VAC baffle and a Ishihara-Johnson crank scraper at the same time? Or would there be no benefit to both?

I want to do this as well, but am having a difficulty figuring out which one I would need for a S52 with the e34 M50 oil pan?

No, there's no reason you couldn't run both. They work in different ways. The scraper is beneficial in reducing drag on the crank, as it "scrapes" the oil off the crank. This frees up power, and keeps more oil in the pan.

The baffle prevents oil from creeping up the sides of the block during cornering, so it keeps oil near the pickup tube.
